We also survived the winter weather on Friday and Saturday. Ok, the truth is that we barely got anything from it. It was a cold rain on Friday, which was great for catching up on some extra beauty rest, and Saturday it was snow that didn’t stick until lunchtime. It was nice to watch the snow through the window with the parronts, but I’m glad that cold, wet stuff wasn’t falling on my feathers. Those poor outside birds! They were troopers at that feeder. They just kept eating and bounding around the yard. We even saw a few robins trying to pull worms out of the ground. I don’t think they had much luck. Then again, they were downhill from the septic tank, so I imagine any worm foolish enough to be there would have extra special flavor!
So we’re doing well. Keeping warm and dry. The weather has gone back to normal for us (50’s, with rain once or twice a week). The parronts didn’t miss any work for the weather and in fact, have been very good about sticking to their normal schedule. Get up, breakfast, work, home, supper, chores/errands, exercise, write/read/watch TV, and off to bed. It sounds dull, but we’d rather be blessed by boring routine than rocked by chaos and problems (we had enough of that in 2013-2014 and it can stay away!). We’re healthy and doing well, and hope you are too.
That’s all today – just a check in to let you know that all is well. Take care, and have a great rest of the week!
Luv,
Chloe
