Thankfully, things are settling somewhat. The AC is fixed now, the parronts are looking for another HVAC contractor, and mommy finished her medications for the infection. No more sweating it out or yukky bacteria for her. She’s back to writing now, and I’m excited to be helping. I helped her finish her last two ebooks, but this will be the first one that I’ll help with from the beginning. I get to experience my first crappy rough draft. Yay!
Daddy is another story. The district moved him to a different school last week, so he’s getting settled in there. He was at his last school for 19 years, so the change is a bit of a shock. Mommy said she had a major work move in 2010, so she understands (to a degree) what he’s going through. She says changing your job changes your life. Zack and I don’t see any changes except it takes daddy a little longer to get to and from work. But I guess the day to day routine there is different than it was before, and it’s all new people. We pray daddy gets settled in there and things go better for him at this different school.
As for me and Zack, we’re a cool Quaker and Conure, thanks to the repairs. Here’s hoping the fixes stick this time!
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
