Not to worry, though, because it's healing birds to the rescue! Zack, Ollie and I have mobilized to take care of our human flock members. We offer snuggles, kisses, and our best behavior to help our parents feel better. We also scream at them twice a day to remind them to take their antibiotics. Mommy is better than she was mid-week, but she still wears out fast and feels bad at times. Poor daddy is just starting his medicine and is tired and achy all the time. Oh dear! We do pray they heal soon!
The good news is that we don't have to worry about catching it from them. Mommy did some research and said that birds can't catch things from humans - something about things can't pass from the RNA strands from human to bird. But ironically, humans CAN catch things from birds. Apparantly, the germs can go from us to them, but not from them to us. Interesting.
I'm just glad they both went to the doctor and are on the road to recovery. Hopefully, they'll be feeling much better soon. In the meantime, it's healing birdies to the rescue!
That's all today. I hope you have a great weekend. Take care and be mindful of your health. Fall allergies can be as bad as the spring ones and, as we see with mommy and daddy, it can lead to getting sick.
