Welcome to fall in the southeast! The good news is that it’s finally cooled off and the humidity dropped. It finally feels like planet Earth. The bad news is that planet Earth has brewed up Hurricane Ian, and it’s barreling toward us.
Crap!
That’s the price we pay to not shovel snow. Stupid-hot summers and storm warning falls. We all have our weather issues. This is ours. We just roll. Being in South Carolina means that hopefully that monster will downgrade before pummeling us. If it pummels us. It might, or it might not. Hence, the ‘cone of uncertainty.’ I think you could call everything from Florida to the Carolinas that!
Didn’t Hurricane Fiona just hit last week? It hit Canada. That’s weird. And mommy said that Alaska got hit with a big storm a couple of weeks ago. Fall is whacky weather time, indeed.
We’re praying for our family and friends in Florida as Hurricane Ian moves in, and for others in the path. We’ll keep an eye on it. Watching the tropics is part of life here. It’s what we do.
That’s all today. Take care, stay safe, and have a great week.
Luv,
Zack
