Nobody showed. She just called. They said "oh, we thought you'd be home all day so we said 8-9, but we really don't know when we'll be there." Apparently, they're unaware of the fact that she's employed outside the home. As are many women in the 21st century (duh). So after some correction, they apologized and said they'd get somebody out here, but it may be another 45 minutes.
It doesn't matter. Why did they say 8-9 when they knew they wouldn't show until they darn well pleased? Then she could have asked for a time later in the day when daddy would be here and they wouldn't have to worry about getting to work. Why did they lie?
I don't understand what humans think they accomplish when they do things like this. All it does is piss people off and cause anger. Then they have the nerve to wonder why people don't trust them? Um, hello. If you lie, you AREN'T trustworthy and don't DESERVE to be trusted.
If anybody can explain this, please let me know. I saw a lot of things in my days in the aviary but I tell you, we birdies don't pull crap like this. It is what it is.
I certainly hope mommy's able to reign in the day, because it's been chaos and aggravation so far. Daddy overslept and had a terrible time getting out the door this morning. Mommy's glad to have had some extra time to catch up on a few writing things, but she's frustrated because she was supposed to be in to work by 10 and just had to call them (they understand, but she feels bad about not being able to keep her word to them because somebody else didn't keep their word to her). And the weather is supposed to be stormy and bad tonight.
I don't know. Maybe it will work out. It usually does. I just hate that it's been a bad morning for my parronts and they're frustrated.
That's all today. I hope you have a happy Friday and a great weekend.
Luv,
Chloe
