My favorite game is "peek a bird," where I hide under a cover with daddy and she pulls up the corner and says "peek a bird!" It's fun because I have to guess where she'll pull up the cover next. I try to anticipate her next move and pop out before she does the peeking. It's great fun. She'll do it peeking around corners or cracks in the door, but covers and blankets are the most fun.
Another great game is "horsey." Daddy lets me stand in his shirt and crawls around the floor. The fun is when he stops at mommy and Chloe and we get to say "hey!" Both parronts can get involved in this one, because mommy can move around the room and make us guess where the next "stop" will be (if she hasn't planted her fanny in the recliner).
And, of course, we sing. All the favorites like "Jesus Loves The Little Birdies" and "You Are My Sunshine." Every now and then we'll get really silly and sing a version of "Why Don't We Get Drunk And Chew." Singing isn't her great talent (or one of her favorite things to do), but she can some up with some sillly humdingers.
I do hope all of you know that Chloe's last entry was tongue-in-beak and wasn't meant to be offensive or rude. Mommy's well aware of the fact that she's a chatterbox and didn't take offence. And truth be told, Chloe can chatter right along with her. But I did want to let you know that for all the joking and teasing, we really do have fun and love one another. And every now and then, she actually had a decent idea, too. You just never know, which is why it's worth it to listen and ponder.
That's all today. Take care. Have a Fantastic Friday tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
Luv,
Zack
