It’s a shame in one way that their “busy seasons” don’t match up, but in another way it’s kind of good. The not-busy one can support the busy one, so it works out in a way. But in another way, it kind of stinks. This is why we can’t take vacations during the summer. The parronts don’t count that as much of a loss because most places are too hot and too crowded (more of that global warming and overpopulation), so fall really is a better time for such things. And after all, who wants to be like everybody else?
This is all according to mommy, anyway. You know she’s weird. Just look at her! Can't you tell by the look on her face that she's up to something?
You know what else she is? Healed from that attack of conjunctivitis, finally! It was an attack, too. Common cold for eyes, my foot. She was knocked flat out with that and a secondary infection it caused for two and a half weeks; and then it went into a rare “secondary” stage of infection that clouded her corneas, then she had cornea scarring. The whole mess has lasted four and a half months! But thanks be to God, she got the “all clear” from her eye doctor Monday. He said both eyes have returned to normal and cleared her to wear her contact lenses again, which she has joyfully done for two days now and has an entire year’s worth on order to deliver to the house by the end of the week. Yay for healing! Yay for mommy!
So thanks for your healing prayers for her, and we ask for you to pray for daddy to transition to back-to-school time, which is always busy and stressful for him. Here’s hoping the 2019-20 year is a better one for him.
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Luv,
Zack
