At least the parronts have a garage, so they don't have to scrape windows. Unfortunately, a garage doesn't keep them from getting what plagues so many humans this time of year: the winter blahs. Yep, winter melancholy has set in around here. It's not that they're sad, or that anything's wrong. They just want to hibernate until the weather warms up. Who can blame them, when it's 29 degrees when you leave for work, and you have to bundle up and walk out there looking like the Michelin Man. And don't get me started on mommy's hats. Oh my goodness. Ultimate silly!
They'll be alright. They always are. They have plenty of chores and errands to keep them engaged and exercise, and when that's done they get online and bother you folks, or read books, or watch movies, or mommy works on the trilogy she's writing, or daddy works on scanning old pictures (he wants to digitize them before they degrade). These things make them feel better. We do too, of course. We're the ultimate cheerer-uppers, and we help them with all of the fun stuff (but they're on their own with the work and exercise!).
So it's rolling along here. We're doing well, just fighting the hibernation urge. Spring will be along again before you know it. Until then, we pray there's no snow! Sunglasses freezing on our heads is just fine with us!
That's all today. Take care, and have a great week.
Luv,
Zack
