The parronts say I’ve got the life. I say I’m bored. All I have to do all day is watch Zack play, punch my own toys around, snack, snooze, and listen to the radio. I’ll admit that it is nice to catch up on those naps. The parronts do have busy days, and they can be noisy when they’re at home. But I loved helping both of them at work. It was interesting. And if it got boring, I just went to sleep.
I guess I’m lucky that I got to “experience” their work for a while. But in the end, my job is to be the best, supportive, spunkiest daughter-bird I can be to them, and to be a good sister-bird to Zack. It’s a good job, even if the days are boring and the action starts after 5:00 again. Well, at least I have Zack to chatter with during the day. But sometimes, I wonder if he’s listening. Mommy asks him sometimes, and all he does is give us that cute conure cackle (and usually goes back to playing or preening).
Oh well, I’m a happy bird. We both are, and as long as the flock is happy then we’re all doing our jobs well.
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great week.
Luv,
Bubbles
