That’s life for you, though. If you have a home, you have to take care of it, and these things will happen. Just like a car, it needs maintenance and repairs. Too bad it happened right after mommy got all of the insurance paperwork for her fender-bender accident on May 1 cleared up (her car repairs were finished two days before they went on vacation, and the reimbursement for her deductible came the day before they discovered the leak).
I suppose it doesn’t help that both mommy and daddy are in their busiest times of the year right now. June is very busy for both of them. That’s why they go on vacation in the spring or fall. So perhaps the timing of that vacation was perfect. They at least had a break before all hell broke loose, eh? But it isn’t helping their stress levels. Mommy is even getting a little superstitious, and that’s not like her. I’m not sure what I think of all this Christian radio in the house to “repel whatever demon might be having too much fun at our expense.”
That’s just life, mommy, and this too shall pass. Look at it this way: if everything happens at once, then it gets resolved at once, and stops at once. Have some faith. That’s probably the lesson you and daddy both need anyway. And maybe a good blessing is on the way! All things do work out for the best in the end.
They’re doing their best, and we’re doing our best to comfort them. I liked helping mommy with her office work better but alas, those days are gone, so it’s back to basic bird routines of being great birds for our parronts and bringing them comfort and joy. And so we shall.
That’s all today. Take care, and stay safe. Have a Happy Friday tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
Luv,
Bubbles
