That was proved last night, when mommy opened a new bag of seed for me and Chloe, and it was filled with bugs. Gross! She and daddy promptly took it back to PetSmart. They were great about it. They said this happens with bird food from time to time, and to always feel free to bring it back if it does happen. Mommy said that's actually only the second time she's had it happen, so it's not a frequent thing. But still, it's good to know that PetSmart has our back and sent them back with fresh, bug free seed. That probiotic diet is really good for us. The only thing mommy didn't like (besides the bugs) was the yellow snake in a nearby display bobbing it's head at her. She was like "oh, hell no." Mommy thinks snakes are a disgusting abomination of creation, and that they should have been annihilated after Eden fell. Or at least, they should live underground or under water, because everything else without legs does.
This is why I'm so smart. She keeps me thinking all the time. That never occurred to me.
The vet said there's also a reason I'm not talking as much as I used to. I'm growing up. She said I'm going through "maturity" and that the "time of year" could be a factor. (Translation: I'm hormonal.) The vet was glad to see that I'm living with two other birds as well, because Quakers usually live in huge flocks and she said Zack and Chloe are good for me. Zack sure is. I'm sweet on him. I love Chloe, but I don't always know how to take her. She's so mellow that it's unbelievable.
Anyway, we're all good and checked out for the year. Healthy, happy, and strong.
That's all today. I wish you joy and peace on these Holy Days, and a Happy Easter.
Luv,
Bubbles
