Goodness, I'm glad mommy and daddy adopted me. It got this hot in Tennessee too, and I lived outside in an aviary then. Air conditioning (and heat when it's cold) is definitely one of the biggest perks of domestication! Having walls to keep the wind and rain off of you are pretty sweet. So is your own food bowl, and not having to wear another bird's rear end for a hat in the snuggle pile. And human servants are the best. Perhaps the vet had it right about me at my last checkup - domestication really does agree with me!
I hope you're taking care and keeping cool. Stay hydrated if it's hot out there, and stay indoors as much as you can. Unless you're at the beach or the pool, and then be sure to wear a hat and use sunscreen and sunglasses to prevent beak and toe burn.
That's all today. Have a wonderful weekend!
Luv,
Chloe
