That’s not the only reason this week has been a pain. Both parronts have had a stomach bug this week. It got mommy first, and then daddy. At least it’s not the flu, which was running rampant around here about a month ago, but still not fun. Thankfully, this bug seems to pass fast. Looks like we’re being Dr. Zack and Dr. Bubbs this week.
In other news, yesterday was 4 years since Ollie passed away with that spinal tumor. He died a few months before his 4th birthday. It’s hard to believe he’s been that gone, and gone longer than he was alive. Ollie definitely didn’t have enough time in this world. What sweet songs he sang. And, in a perfect example of how life is truly a mix, mommy had a reminder picture pop up on Fartbook from when they were at The Grand Canyon 5 years ago. Life is strange: good and bad. I think we could all use some more good!
And in closing, we’re living in the yellow haze. Spring is peeking in, and we’re covered in pollen. It would match me, but I'm staying inside and away from that stinky mess. And speaking of mess, this pollen is making the humans' eyes - and the rest of their sinuses - a runny mess. It’s supposed to rain today and tomorrow, so hopefully that will drown some of it. One nice thing is that our winters are relatively short here, and we get breaks during them when we have warm days. I’m sure it will get cold again. You never can tell in March – it can be 80 degrees one day, and 55 degrees the next. The parronts check their weather app several times throughout the day, because forecasts are constantly changing.
That’s life in our corner of the world. I hope you’re doing well. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Luv,
Zack
