Why do humans keep pushing on, even when they don’t feel good? Sure, birds hide their illness, but we’re animals of prey. Nobody eats sick humans – well, nobody that isn’t sick themselves, anyway. It’s not like they need to hide their illness. They go on and on about how much they have to do, and they can’t afford to miss this or that. Bah! I say enjoy your placement at the top of the food chain. If you’re sick, rest and get better. But no, she took 1 day off and then was back at work. We’re keeping a sharp eye on her at home, and screaming when we feel she’s overdone it. So we scream at her often.
Truthfully, she is healing. It just takes a while longer with a relapse. The doctor gave her 2 weeks of antibiotics but told her to take it easy, keep on the over the counter remedies like Claritin and saline rinses, and don’t overdo it for at least a month to make sure she doesn’t relapse again. I’m not worried about that while she’s on the antibiotic because it tires her out easy – it’s the 2 weeks after she’s done with it that Chloe and I will really have to squawk after her. Why are humans so stubborn?
That’s all today. Take care. Have a happy Friday tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
Luv,
Zack
