The west has fires. We have heat domes, followed by hurricanes. Ok, Idalia is going to be a tropical storm when she passes east of here. At least it won’t be 103 degrees, with a heat index of 110. Everybody hopes we’re done with that, because two months of it is enough. Now our weather radios spawn another type of anxiety: wind, rain, floods, with the “other consequences” of packed grocery stores and bad drivers.
We deal with it every year. The price of mild weather most of the year is wild summers, but maybe we’re closing it out now. We hang in there together. And hey, college football season starts this weekend. Go team!
That’s all today. Take care, stay safe, and have a great week and Labor Day weekend!
Luv,
Bubbles
