Oh joy! I wish the wind would blow like that more often so he could be home and I could binge. But alas, it’s back to work today.
Mommy said they didn’t cancel school for wind and rain when she was a kid. She said they just sat inside all day and continued to learn stuff. They also had chalkboards, notebooks (no spiral notebooks allowed until college!) and real books, not devices. How archaic! It must have been something to go to school in the dark ages. It seems weather days were rare then, most likely because busses were heavier back then (really? they don't operate in wind in the 21st century?) and it rarely snows. And thank goodness. Mommy said we did our time with all of those heat domes last summer. Let it snow – somewhere else. That gets a head bob and a “that’s right!” out of me. I saw snow for the first time about a year ago, and I wasn’t impressed. It was cold, wet, and scary.
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Luv,
Bubbles
