Other areas aren't so lucky. The rivers are running so high that they're nearly at the bridges going over them on the Interstates. In face, many roads are closed, including stretches of the Interstates. Creeks are flooding and earthen dams are breaking. 12 mile creek up the road from us runneth over. Thankfully, it's 6 miles away, and I-20 is the low spot between us and it. But it's still not as bad as Charleston. I saw the pictures of high tide coming in through The Battery yesterday. That's right, THROUGH it. Not near it. It went right over it into the road. Not to mention other pictures of kayaks, boats, and one dude on an air mattress.
Church was cancelled today, and daddy's work is already cancelled tomorrow. Schools are always the first to cancel. Everybody else (including mommy) probably won't know until 6 a.m. tomorrow if work is delayed or cancelled. But no worries - we'll stay safe!
If you're in SC, stay safe and keep an eye on the weather. Don't go out "sightseeing." The news anchors are doing a great job of freaking out for us. If you aren't in SC, keep us in your prayers. This rain is supposed to continue through tomorrow night.
That's all today. Take care and have a great week.
Luv,
Zack and Chloe
