Mommy says I do. She says I've got the smarts, and I'm pretty. She and daddy are the first ones to tell me I'm pretty.
I have to say, if this is domestication, then I wish they'd adopted me from the start. Frequent feedings, free housekeeping, climate controlled housing, and I get to go on the computer, listen to music, and watch TV with the flock. This is a sweet deal! They really ought to pre-screen people before letting them take a bird home. If only I got here before the season of Game of Thrones wound down for the season. Those dragons were awesome. Mommy says there's another show called Breaking Bad that was equally brilliant that I'll have to see.
Mommy talks to me. A lot. Actually, she's filled my ears and brain with more than I thought possible in a lifetime. I'm not sure if she's a fun silly, or the kind of crazy that belongs in the locked wards where they dress you in other peoples' clothes and orange socks. Sometimes, it's hard to tell fiction from reality. Are there really cybernetic aliens coming to Earth that are going to take us over and terraform the planet? Everybody says she made that up, but I saw the stuff about the New Horizons probe orbiting Jupiter, and the Star Trek Beyond preview, and now I'm confused. Daddy, Zack and Chloe vouch for her and given their penchant for happy and silly, I'll give it serious consideration. Obviously, I still have much to learn here.
Yes, I'm still adjusting, but there is progress. Mommy says I have a place here, and we're going to find it together. It's nice to have a flock that cares.
That's all today. Take care, and have an awesome week.
Luv,
Bubbles
