The parronts say it won’t be for long. Spring will come and with it, the cryogenic freeze will end. The good news is that it’s so cold that I’m pretty sure our cells haven’t been dividing lately, so we shouldn’t be aging. That’s what mommy said, anyway.
The extreme cold weather means that you have to stay indoors, but humans are good at keeping themselves occupied. When they aren’t working, keeping house, or mommy is writing, then they watch TV. Daddy is particularly interested in a show called The Blacklist. It’s about a “secret” list of American enemies that only get off the list when they are “eliminated” as threats. Zack and I find this show amazing. I can’t believe how complicated humans can make things. If you don’t like a country, why not just stay away from it and go someplace where you’re happy? Why attack it? Why hurt people? In the aviary we would beak wrestle a bird that got too out of line. And if they kept on, they got the outside of the snuggle pile so they would shield the good birds from the elements. Conures are by nature peaceful, so we resolve things simply, quickly, and directly. Shape up, or shield the flock.
Humans are so dramatic. Oh well. It makes for good entertainment, anyway.
That’s all for today. Stay warm, and take care! Have a Happy Friday tomorrow and a wonderful weekend.
Luv,
Chloe
