The good news is that she's recovering, albeit slowly. She's not as stuffy today, and seems to have a bit more energy. The doctor said she'll be good to go tomorrow and should feel fine for the weekend and Christmas, which is good news. But she's still a bit slow, which is understandable. We're just glad she did the right thing, went to the doctor, and is recovering. I was really worried about her earlier this week! I preened her until it tickled, and gave her big conure eyes to encourage her to do the right thing. It worked. Nobody can resist a conure cutie!
She's on the right track to recovery, and it's almost Christmas. I'm so excited. She said she got a message from Santa and he said our good behavior this week has earned us the Big Box of Christmas Goodies! Hooray! We can't wait to dive into that box of popcorn/peanut/toy goodies! Maybe there will be cashews in there, too. So we've been healing birdies this week, but next week we celebrate. And then it's my birthday! I'll be 19 on December 31! I'm mommy and daddy's millennium birdy!
I want to thank all of you for being great friends to us. You're great, and we're glad to have you as our anipals. I hope you and your flock/families all have a safe, happy, blessed, and very Merry Christmas. May the love, peace, and joy of Christ be with you always.
Luv,
Zack
