And thanks to Milo for explaining how caucuses work on Twitter. Mommy got confused on how it was different from a primary and tried to look it up online, but apparently the Internet doesn't know what caucuses are either. We appreciate it being explained in plain English.
Mommy has a good reason for a foggy brain - she has a cold. It's amazing how people get in their cliques and groups at work, but they believe in sharing their germs indiscriminately. Humans are so weird. But then again, she isn't staying home from work. She believes that she caught it there, so staying away isn't helping because it's already there. Translation: she doesn't feel bad enough to use a sick day. But as colds go, this one seems mild, so she should be ok. She even cleaned our cages and exercised, so it must not be too bad. Birds can't catch things from humans, so the cage cleaning didn't put me and Zack at risk from catching nasty human germs. We just hope she feels better soon.
We've had a winter thaw here. It's been in the 70's. We've enjoyed the break from winter and even sat outside some over the weekend, but it looks like it will be brief, as they usually are this time of year. Rain's moving in tomorrow, followed by more seasonable weather - that's in the 40's - 50's here in South Carolina. I hear it's snow in places up north, so take care if you're in that area.
That's all today. We hope you're doing well. Take care, and have a great week.
Luv,
Chloe
