It started Monday, when mommy told daddy that he needed to order a new throw blanket for his recliner. Bubbles and I keep pooping all over it, and she said that he really needs a second one to change out with it so we don’t wear one out washing it all the time. It’s true. Those throw blankets are soft, and snuggly, and of course we mess them up. We’re birds!
It’s what we do!
Daddy went on a place called Amazon, where he discovered that the covers were not only on sale, but came in a variety of colors. He decided that Bubbs and I needed new covers to replace the old, worn out sheets we have. He carefully selected them for us: gold for me, and baby blue for Bubbles. They arrived last night, and we were so excited! They’re wonderful! They’re soft, warm, bright, and best of all, they match us! I love mine, and I think Bubbles loves hers too. I’ll have to plan a cage escape tonight when mommy changes my water so I can give it a proper snuggle test.
So that’s the big adventure in our home these days. We went from Christmas, Santa Clause, and my birthday to getting excited over cage covers. January sure does suck. But mommy pointed out that at least the days are slowly getting longer.
It’s not dark when she gets home from work anymore, which is good. That was starting to wear on her nerves. Now if something could be done about our awful roads to help alleviate traffic. Yea, right. If they worked as hard at fixing the roads as they do at making excuses not to do it, our road system might be in the twenty first century now.
Oh well. That’s what happens when humans run things. They’re messed up!
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Luv,
Zack
