You think you're so evolved, but you're a slave to your emotions. What good will screaming in the streets and destroying property do? You don't even have a goal! Good grief, now there's a definition of insanity:
We're mad!
What are you going to do about it?
We're gonna break stuff!
What will that do?
Get us on the news being mad as hell and scare everybody!
Good grief, and you think you're evolved. That's self deception at it's finest. No goal. No cooperation. Just get mad, and destroy. Just like a toddler does. That's what really scares me. You have the maturity of a 2 year old, and you want to run things. Methinks leadership requires a bit more experience, self discipline, and maturity than breaking and burning stuff.
The problem is, even more people are hiding behind their computer screens and spreading the vitriol on social media. It's to the point where mommy and daddy quit with it for now. They've had enough. No news, and definitely no Facebook. When the "block parties" and "this person is dead to me - they didn't die, they just don't agree with me" posts started, we stopped. No more. Conures are sweet, loving birds, and I'm not going to let this poison in! I'm glad the parronts won't, either.
I know this whole COVID-19 thing led to a domino effect of people losing their proverbial crap but please, TP shortage or not, try to get it together. Take an anger management course. Practice meditation. Read The Bible. (Gasp! How could I say that?). Try one of the bazillion online counseling services that sprung up during lockdown. Do something, for goodness sake. Challenges can bring about evolution of character at least. As one of mommy's bosses used to say: try. It's not working? Try harder. You can do it. If you're determined enough to scream about it, then channel that energy into something productive to do about it. Like registering to vote.
Grow up, humans. A parrot is telling you that you're crazy. There's your sign that things are seriously out of order!
That's all today. Please take stock, take a break, or do whatever you need to do. Have a Happy Friday tomorrow and a safe weekend.
Luv,
Zack
