But I get it now, thanks to Zack and the parronts. The holidays are fun! There’s food, fun, and gifts. Parcels from a place called AMAZON are already arriving on the porch – mommy and daddy have been spending a lot of time on their computers there lately. Everybody and every anipal is festive. There are fun songs on the radio and TV shows celebrating the season. I didn’t know what I was missing, but now that I know about it, I love it. And mommy says it’s ok to “go with it” now since Thanksgiving is next week. I bet she’ll get out her Christmas purse, shirts, and jewelry this weekend, and then they’ll bring the fake tree in the house in the next few weeks. Then the pretty packages appear!
Now if only Santa could wisk away the terrorists killing people. Those attacks in Paris were terrible! It’s the worst thing I’ve seen in my life. I didn’t hatch until 2003, so I missed 9-11. Zack was a baby then, and he said that was the absolute worst. We offer up wingprayers for France. Mommy believes these terrorists are going to take us into World War Three eventually. She says that’s the biggest problem in the world now. Oh my, don’t get her started on terrorism and how we need a President that’s strong in foreign affairs. If she does get started, just play “Linus and Lucy” for her. That usually distracts her enough to get happy again.
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great week.
Luv,
Chloe
