A lot of people complain about the heat. Sure, it's hot. The humidity is about 300% and it feels like you can melt into the pavement when it's over 90 degrees (that's gross). It makes the air electric - literally! - as it spawns wrath of God storms. Then there are the tropical storms swirling in the sea that we call "the beach." And we wouldn't know what was happening any other way. Mommy will attest to that. She told me that Mark Twain had it right: the coldest winter she ever felt was September in San Francisco. It's also the worst nosebleed she ever had, going from 90 degrees here to 55 degrees there. She was not happy. I don't think the maid that had to wash that nice, white, fluffy towel she wiped her nose on was, either.
We agree. Zack and I are tropical birds, so we're good for it. Still, AC is great. I can't say I miss the aviary days too much - and summer is a lot more fun when you enjoy it under an air vent!
That's all today. Take care, and have a great rest of the week.
Luv,
Chloe
