Yay!
We’re very happy that mommy is home with us, and she’s happy to be out of work travel. But I think it’s more than that. I think she’s finally settled in her new work group, and is glad to have a boss that’s interested in going to the conferences. She’s been going for three and a half years because her supervisor’s position has been in flux during that time, between the old one retiring, the new one coming in and getting trained, and then this reorganization. Things are settling, she’s learning the new (more relaxed) ways of her current work group, and it’s working out well, for her and the entire work group. It’s rare that things are a win all the way around.
Sure, she misses seeing the great folks she met at the conferences, and she had some good experiences and saw some great places because of them, like Arizona and Washington D.C. But travel is stressful, and she was always upset about leaving us behind. It’s ok, mommy. You learned a lot, but that chapter of life is over. We’re glad you don’t have to do that anymore.
In other news, the TV situation is working out quite well. We're happy with it!
That’s all today. Take care, and have a great week.
Luv,
Zack
