The parronts like to get the shopping and whatnot done early in case their workload takes off, which is possible in December. It's not looking likely for mommy - in fact, this is the first December since she started working full time after college that she won't have some kind of deadline or license renewals to keep her desk (and computer) piled up in December. She says it's nice, but habits die hard, so she did the shopping early anyway. Ditto with daddy. It's not as bad as previous years, but you never know. So they're prepared. If work takes off, they're ready. If not, they can relax and enjoy the season. Here's hoping for relaxing!
It also turned cold here. For folks looking for warm air - sorry, our weather turned last week. It's definitely December now! Chilly, and it rained Wednesday. And football season is over for us, since the Gamecocks had an epic fail of a season this year. They happen. At least we can watch championships, play-offs,and bowl games stress free - if we decide to watch them at all. The big thing we're waiting on is to see who the University of South Carolina hires for their next head coach. Word is supposed to be coming soon.
No, we aren't Clemson people. We know they're #1, but don't go there. In South Carolina, you're for the University of South Carolina or Clemson, and the parronts graduated from USC. Their blood runneth garnet.
So that's what's happening in our corner of the world. I hope you're all doing well. Take care, and have a wonderful weekend!
Luv,
Chloe
