Not that we should complain too much. We’re tropical birds, so this weather is quite agreeable. What will be disagreeable is that another pattern usually follows the warmth, and it usually involves an arctic blast and the parronts griping while they bundle up in coats, gloves, hoods, and hats. Give us a week or two, and the thermal underwear will be back.
That’s winter in the south. We can fit all four seasons in a week. Two weeks ago, we had snow flurries. Now, mommy’s roses are growing right along with the camellia blooms. I wish we could bottle up this warm air and send it to some of you who are actually having winter. I know you’d appreciate it!
