We're lucky to live pretty far inland, but they're still expecting wind and rain from this storm here. It's scary, because it isn't doing what the forecasters think it will do, and everything is uncertain. We've planned the best we can. The pantry and fridge are full, batteries are charged, and the outside items are now under the garage. Daddy put plenty of seed out for the outside birds at the feeder. Nobody can afford to underestimate this one.
Our prayers are with our friends and neighbors in the Bahamas, Florida, and Georgia. Everybody, please be careful. Hurricanes are no joke. As one comedian that the parronts like put it: it's not that the wind is blowing, it's what the wind is blowing! A sign blown through your spleen will kill you. And like mommy says about why she hates retaining walls: when man fights nature, nature wins. You can't stop wind, rain, weather, and earth. So be careful.
We'll keep you posted, and keep everybody in our thoughts and prayers.
That's all today. Take care. Have a Happy Friday tomorrow and a good weekend.
Luv,
Zack
